The Great Daddy Project: More Things My Wife Has Taught Me About Pregnancy
As an ever evolving Dad-to-be I find myself at the business end of of the learning stick. My wife is the teacher and I’m the student..daily. Since my last list, I’ve learned a few more concepts that are currently fighting for room within my tiny brain. Sorry math, you’re gonna have to squeeze…
Dude, be really careful about taking your wife’s hands and tugging her to her feet when she’s pregnant. You can really hurt her back. The safest way for her to get up from a lying position is to roll sideways, put her feet on the floor and then push up with her hands. The safest from a sitting position is if you sit next to her, put an arm around her waist and then lift together.
Sorry, just…when I was pregnant, I got 1.5 million lectures on this from my support people after an orthopedist said so at a birth prep class.
